Home time at RTS is built around your needs, not the other way around. We run OTR, regional, and local dedicated routes, including dedicated local runs that get you home every single day, so we start with the schedule your life requires and find the seat that fits it. We also run non-forced dispatch, so you have a real say in the freight you take. Tell your recruiter what home time looks like for you and we'll build around it.

Our fleet is built around late-model, well-maintained Freightliner Cascadia tractors. We invest in our equipment because we expect you to be proud of what you drive and comfortable while you do it.

We look for drivers with a valid Class A CDL, at least 2 years of recent verifiable driving experience, and a clean MVR and PSP. Above all, we want drivers who take pride in running a safe, dependable, on-time schedule. Reach out and we'll walk you through what qualifies you for the routes we run.

Full-time drivers are eligible for health, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off, and our driver referral program, plus consistent, year-round work and real opportunity to grow. A benefit eligibility waiting period may apply; your recruiter will walk you through the details.

Most of our OTR and regional drivers are paid on percentage: you earn a set share of the revenue on every load you haul, so when the truck does well, you do well. Our dedicated local routes are paid hourly or at a set rate, and everyone gets paid weekly. It's competitive and transparent with no games; your recruiter will lay out the full pay package for your specific route up front so you always know exactly what you're earning before you ever get behind the wheel.

We move a full range of truckload freight, including dry van, refrigerated (reefer), specialized, and expedited, across dedicated lanes and regional distribution throughout the Midwest and beyond. Yes. Dedicated contract carriage is a core part of what we do, including high-service dedicated lanes and shuttle operations such as postal contract routes and preloaded power-only shuttle runs. These are long-standing, year-round accounts run by experienced drivers who know the freight and the schedule cold, so you get consistent, reliable capacity you can plan around.
